Frequently Asked Questions

▷ How do I know if I need Chiropractic Care?

Chiropractors can address a wide range of musculoskeletal issues beyond just back problems. While spinal care is a primary focus, chiropractors are trained to treat conditions affecting the entire body, including headaches, pain in the arms and legs, and even some non-musculoskeletal issues, such as gastric reflux, shortness of breath, pelvic floor prolapse and etc. Chiropractic care aims to improve overall body function by addressing the relationship between the spine and the nervous system.

▽ Can chiropractors address issues other than back problems?

Chiropractic provides both palliative and preventative outcomes, we treat spinal conditions as well as prevent them from happening. This means everyone should at least have their spine checked and treated if deemed necessary.
If you are currently experiencing symptoms that might be originating from your spine, find out more in Common Condition. If you would like to learn more about the status of your spine, contact us for a check-up.

▽ How long is the initial consultation and report of findings?

The whole duration of the initial consultation and report of findings usually last for about 30 minutes and 45 minutes respectively.

Our registered Chiropractors use radiographic imaging, including X-rays and MRIs, to examine your spinal condition, structure, and posture. This helps us accurately identify misalignments and joint fixations, allowing us to quantify data, formulate and personalize your care plan.
We believe that precise analysis and targeted correction significantly enhance the effectiveness of patient care.

▽ Why do we do X-ray analysis in Spinalysis?

You do NOT require referrals from primary care physicians or medical doctors to visit a registered chiropractor.

▽ Am I required to have a medical referral to see a Chiropractor?

A typical full spine X-ray involves about the same amount of radiation exposure, as you would receive from naturally occurring radioactive materials over a period.
However, it's important to inform your Chiropractor if you have any existing medical conditions, such as pregnancy, tumors, or malignancies. Your well-being is our top priority, please contact us if you have any more concerns or questions.

▽ Is X-ray dangerous?

You do NOT require referrals from primary care physicians or medical doctors to visit a registered chiropractor.

▽ Am I required to have a medical referral to see a Chiropractor?

Your first chiropractic adjustment will be performed on your 2nd visit after your report of findings. This is to ensure we have gathered all the information we need to initiate your care.
If your condition requires immediate attention, or staffs may schedule your radiographic examination right after the initial consultation to speed up the process.
